Safehands Recruitment is currently assisting a very prestigious charity in Bradford to recruit a Lead Senior Support Worker. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of their Bradford Leadership Team. They are looking for talented individuals with experience in social care in a supervisory role, working with people with learning disabilities. This is a full-time permanent position that entails 37.5 hours a week.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Lead Senior Support Worker, you will lead and act as the first point of contact in the absence of the Team / Service manager.
Ensure full and accurate communication during handovers.
Assist the Team / Service Manager with the day-to-day supervision of Support Workers and, when needed, undertake formal supervision.
Compile team rotas and activity plans as required by the Team / Service Manager.
Maintain and verify the accuracy of financial records for the people we support.
Carry out ‘on-call’ duties when required.
Model person-centred practice and contribute to the induction and support of new and less experienced support worker colleagues.
Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested.
Qualifications and Experience:
20 days paid leave including 8 bank holidays
12 months of Support Worker experience.
An L3 qualification in Health and Social Care.
Care Certificate Training.
A full, clean driving license (essential for this position).
An enhanced DBS check (required).
